e-Office Safety Offer a workstation assessment and ergonomics training program. Assessment of the workstation is carried out online with ergonomics training. The information is then fed into a workstation assessment database, which enables the health and safety personnel to manage the assessments and offer ergonomics advice.

e-learning:

The e-learning is comprised of 7 sections. The training covers the following topics:

  • Seating

  • Desk 

  • Keyboard & Mouse

  • Monitor

  • Lighting

  • Work

  • Environment & Health


Step 1

The e-learning meets local government accessibility guidelines, which means that it can be read by the visual impaired. More information is available on accessibility by clicking here.

Once the ergonomics training has been completed the DSE user is then assessed.

Step 2:

Exam:
The exam section checks on the competency of the employee. The system can be configured so that only personnel who pass the exam may continue on to the assessment

Risk Assessment:
Once the training is completed the user can enter the assessment centre. Here questions are asked which deal with the issues that arise in the training modules.

The workstation assessment data is collected and then fed into the Learning Management System which offers the employee valuable workstation ergonomics advice and also alters management of any ergonomics issues which need to be assessed.

Step 3

Employee Access:
Employees can monitor the results of the exams and risk assessments by pressing links at the bottom of the screen. The results are shown with ergonomics advice. This enables the employee to apply ergonomic controls to their workstations.

Management Access:
The learning management (e-LMS) is provded free with e-Office Safety. This tool enables you to examine training take-up, implement solutions to problems identified in assessments, send automated emails and produce highly flexible management reports.

The system is split into 4 main tabs

  • Today

  • Topics

  • Queries

  • Audit Trail

Today:
e-LMS - the Learning Management System is a very powerful tool. When first logging in the "Today" tab is displayed. The screen shot below shows tasks which are due to be carried out as well as automated emails which need to be sent and reports due for review.

Topics:
The data can be analysed in greater detail, this allows you to analyse trends and spot overall weaknesses and strengths within your organisation.

Queries:
Reports and automated emails are saved here for review. Analysis by department, site, job function etc are just a few of the many options available.

Audit Trail:
The system keeps an historical record of all activity carried out by the system, this is available for later review.

Open Learning Management Systems (SCORM):
The e-learning is written using the industry standard SCORM. This means that it can also host other vendor's e-learning, this gives you the unexpected advantage of maximising your initial investment.
